Why use Retinaldehyde?
Speeds cell turnover
Skin cells naturally move from the lower layer to the top layer every 28 to 30 days. As we age our skin loses vibrancy, elasticity and firmness which slows skin cell turnover or cell renewal. This powerhouse ingredient unlocks anti-ageing and skin clarifying benefits. Its boosts the skin cell renewal factor, improving normal skin function and health.
Stimulates collagen production
Collagen and elastin are the building blocks of healthy taught skin. Retinaldehyde, works in the deeper layer of the skin, where it boosts collagen production, increases elasticity, and repairs the skin, improving wrinkles, fine lines and skin texture.
Clears pores
Retinaldehyde – Vitamin A helps shrink oil glands and balance oil production in oily and acne-prone skin, helping prevent clogging and skin breakout. By speeding up cell turnover, retinaldehyde helps keep pores clear.

Who should use Retinaldehyde?
Everyone! If you want to jumpstart excellent skincare, you should be using a retinaldehyde serum.
How often can you use Retinaldehyde?
Retinaldehyde can be used daily, however due to it being a potent ingredient it’s best to introduce it gradually, allowing your skin to acclimatise to it.
Retinaldehyde – Vitamin A works well with
Vitamin B3 and Vitamin C for additional skin brightening, plumping and strengthening. Exfoliators with AHA’s (natural fruit acids) help speed up the removal of dead skin cells and help retinaldehyde (Vit A) penetrate more effectively into the skin.
How to use Retinaldehyde
This is a night-time serum, use a pearl-size amount. If you have sensitive, inflamed or acne skin start by using it every second or third night for two weeks, gradually working up to nightly use. If you do start to get a little red or flaky, scale back and only use a few times per week. Don’t worry that it isn’t doing anything; the product is still working, and over time your skin will improve. Just go slowly and allow your skin to acclimatise and the serum to do its work.
NOTE: Use retinaldehyde serums at night. Use other serums during the day and apply an SPF or tinted sun protection cream. Avoid using exfoliating products or AHA’s during the day, reserve them for night treatments.
