Why use Vitamin C?
Protects the skin
Vitamin C protects the skin from environmental elements like ultraviolet rays and pollution that speed up premature skin ageing and promote wrinkles, uneven skin tone and a dull, saggy complexion. Vitamin C helps keep skin healthy by putting up a defence field of antioxidant ‘soldiers’ that fight off pollutants and UV damage. The antioxidant properties of vitamin C are vital for skin health.
Boosts collagen production
Collagen is the skins support ‘mattress’ and vitamin C is the essential cofactor building triple chain strands of collagen to withstand skin stressors.
Promotes an even skin tone
Vitamin C is helpful in fading skin discolouration marks and brown spots, by blocking the pathway of pigment production.
